Space Becomes Us is a meditative exploration of the symbiosis between the human body and the environments we inhabit.
In this project, Nadia Magda delves into how physical spaces and our surroundings influence state of consciousness shaping personal identity and emotional landscapes. Through a series of evocative video-images, the project expresses the fluidity between self and space, portraying moments were creating a sense of belonging, transformation, and reflection.
This sparks an awareness of how much the spaces around us shape who we are—how they become extensions of our emotions and identities. Shot in a variety of natural and urban settings, the work captures the tension between presence and absence, movement and stillness, and the subtle ways in which we alter spaces just by existing in them.
Through soft, almost ethereal imagery, „Space Becomes Us” invites the viewer to consider the symbiotic relationship between themselves and their environments—challenging the perception of space as a mere backdrop to human experience, instead portraying it as an active participant in the formation of self.
